Ukraine, Zelensky: ‘Next talks likely to be held in the United States’

Turin, 5 February (LaPresse) – ‘Today I received a report from our negotiating team following two days of meetings and talks in the Emirates, both with the American and Russian sides. I am waiting for the team in Kiev for a full report in person. What can already be said is that further meetings are planned in the near future, probably in the United States.’ This was stated by Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky on Telegram. ‘We are ready for all viable formats that can truly bring peace closer and make it reliable, lasting and such as to deprive Russia of any desire to continue the war,’ he explained. ‘It is essential that this war ends in a way that leaves Russia with no reward for its aggression. This is one of the key principles that restore and guarantee real security,’ added the Kiev leader.
