Iran, Araghchi in Oman for talks with the US: “Mutual respect is needed”

Muscat (Oman), Feb. 6 (LaPresse) – Ahead of today’s meeting in Oman between Iran and the United States on Tehran’s nuclear program, Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi, who arrived overnight with several Iranian diplomats, wrote on X that Iran enters the talks “with open eyes and a firm memory of the past year.” “Commitments must be honored,” he wrote. “Equality of rights, mutual respect, and mutual interest are not rhetoric: they are a duty and the pillars of a lasting agreement.”
