Rome, 7 February (LaPresse) – “Last night’s attack involved more than 400 drones and about 40 missiles of various types. The main targets were the energy network, power plants and distribution substations. Damage has been reported in the regions of Volyn, Ivano-Frankivsk, Lviv and Rivne. An apartment building was damaged in Rivne. In Ladyzhyn, in the Vinnytsia region, drones struck the administrative building of an agricultural institute. There were also attacks in the Kyiv and Kharkiv regions. Air defence operations are underway in some regions. Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky wrote this on social media. “Every day,” Zelensky emphasises, ‘Russia could choose real diplomacy, but it chooses new attacks. It is essential that all those who support trilateral negotiations react to this. Moscow must be deprived of the opportunity to use the cold weather as leverage against Ukraine. This requires missiles for Patriot, Nasams and other systems. Every shipment helps us get through this winter. I thank all our partners who understand this and are sincerely helping us.”
