Gaza, Albanese on calls for resignation: “The inquisition is back”

(LaPresse) – “The Inquisition is back.” Francesca Albanese wrote this on X regarding calls for her resignation as United Nations Special Rapporteur for the Palestinian Territories, made by France. “A lie has been exposed. Instead of retracting it, the system that allowed genocide attacks the messenger,” she wrote. “France knows it has made a mistake, but pride prevents it from correcting it: archives are being ransacked in search of any inappropriate word. Others repeat the falsehood.”
