Iran, Pahlavi appeals to Trump: “Help the people, let’s put an end to the regime”

Munich, 14 Feb. (LaPresse) – “The Iranian people have been told that help is on the way, and they trust you. Help them.” This was the appeal launched by Reza Pahlavi, son of the last Shah, to United States President Donald Trump during his speech at the Munich Security Conference. “It is time to put an end to the Islamic Republic,” he declared. Pahlavi warned of the likelihood of further deaths in Iran if “the democracies stand by and watch.”
