Macron: ‘Meloni should not comment on what happens in other countries’

Milan, 19 February (LaPresse) – French President Emmanuel Macron, visiting India, did not appreciate Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni’s statements on X regarding the death of Quentin Deranque. Speaking to journalists, Macron asked Meloni to stop ‘commenting on what happens in other countries,’ according to Bfmtv. ‘If everyone stayed at home, the sheep would be well protected,’ he then joked. Meloni had described the killing of the French nationalist activist as ‘a wound for the whole of Europe.’
