Ukraine: Russian drones strike Odessa, leaving two injured and damaging energy infrastructure

Milan, 21 February (LaPresse) – During the night, Russia launched another attack on an energy facility in Ukraine, targeting a plant owned by Dtek, Ukraine’s largest private energy company, in the Odessa region. This was reported by Dtek itself, as cited by Ukrainska Pravda. The Odessa regional administration also reports that two people were injured and at least four houses, a four-apartment building, several garages and cars were destroyed in the large-scale drone attack that hit the area; a secondary school was also damaged. According to Dtek, the attack caused serious damage and repairs are expected to take a long time before the equipment can be fully operational. “We are currently working on site, removing the rubble. We will do everything possible to deal with the consequences of the attack as quickly as possible,” Dtek said.
