Ukraine, Zelensky to Trump: ‘Stay on our side’

Rome, 24 February (LaPresse) – Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky, in an interview with CNN, appealed to US President Donald Trump. ‘Stay on our side,’ Zelensky said on the fourth anniversary of the Russian invasion. “They must stand with a democratic country fighting against one person. Because this person is a war. Putin is a war. It’s all about him. Everything revolves around one person. And the country, his entire country, is in prison,‘ the Ukrainian president added. When asked whether the US president is putting enough pressure on Vladimir Putin to try to end the war, Zelensky replied, ’No.”
