Iran, Tehran: “If the only point is nuclear weapons, agreement possible immediately”

Rome, Feb. 26 (LaPresse) – “If the central issue of the talks is to ensure that Iran does not seek to build nuclear weapons, then an agreement could be reached immediately.” Ali Shamkhani, Secretary of Iran’s Supreme National Security Council, wrote this on X. Shamkhani clarified that this point is “in line” with Iran’s military doctrine, and Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi has “sufficient support and authority” to finalize an agreement on this matter.
