Jerusalem, Feb. 28 (LaPresse) – Israel has launched a preemptive attack against Iran “to remove threats to the State of Israel.” This was announced by Israeli Defense Minister Israel Katz, who added that a state of emergency has been declared throughout Israel. At least three explosions were reported in the Iranian capital, Tehran. Foreign Minister Antonio Tajani stated that he is monitoring the situation closely in constant contact with the Italian Embassies in Tehran and Tel Aviv. “Priority: the safety of our citizens. At the Foreign Ministry, the Crisis Unit is working,” said Tajani.
