Iran, Sa’ar: “We do not rule out ground operations, including in Lebanon”

Turin, March 2 (LaPresse) – “Whether Israel is planning a ground operation in Iran and Lebanon? I do not rule it out. We have been attacked. We are not planning it. First of all, we do not announce what we will do when there is a war. But for the second time we have been attacked from Lebanon, only because of another war,” said Israeli Foreign Minister Gideon Sa’ar in an interview with RAI – TG1. “Our goal is to eliminate in the long term the existential threat posed by this kind of regime. It is not a violation of the law to defend oneself against someone who says and behaves like someone who wants to eliminate you. And this is the case with the current regime in Iran,” the official of the Israel government continued.
