Iran, Crosetto: ‘Attack outside the rules of international law’

Milan, 5 March (LaPresse) – ‘This war has found us facing the same scenario as others, not a shared decision, certainly outside the rules of international law.’ This was stated by Guido Crosetto, Minister of Defence, in his reply after communications to the Chamber of Deputies on the situation in Iran and the Gulf countries, receiving “applause” from the opposition in the chamber. ‘In recent days, the Meloni government has been criticised because it was not informed, but the same scenario would have occurred with any other government,’ he said, ‘because no government in the world was informed, not even the highest American chain of command knew about the departure of the aircraft.’
