Ukraine, Kyiv: “Death toll rises to 10 after Russian attack on Kharkiv”

Milan, Mar. 7 (LaPresse) – The death toll in Ukraine has risen to 10 following the Russian missile attack that struck a five-storey residential building in Kharkiv, the country’s second-largest city. This was reported by the city’s mayor Ihor Terekhov. Among the victims were an elementary school teacher and her son, a second-grade student, killed inside their home, and a middle-school student who died together with her mother. The regional prosecutor’s office said the building was hit by a new Russian cruise missile known as Izdeliye-30. According to Ukrainian sources, the new air-launched weapon recently deployed by Russia against Ukraine has a range of 1,500 km and is equipped with a new satellite navigation system more resistant to interference.
