Iran: Emirati tugboat sunk in Strait of Hormuz, three missing

Rome, 8 March (LaPresse) – Three Indonesian crew members are missing after the Musaffah 2 tugboat, flying the flag of the United Arab Emirates, sank on Friday in the Strait of Hormuz. This was reported in a statement by the Indonesian Foreign Ministry. ‘An Indonesian survivor is currently being treated for burns at a hospital in the city of Khasab, Oman. Local authorities are still searching for the other three,’ reads the statement reported by Al Jazeera. The ministry says that before sinking, the Musaffah 2 suffered an explosion that caused a fire.
