Iran, Tehran: ‘European countries’ actions have encouraged crimes by the US and Israel’

Rome, 9 March (LaPresse) – Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesman Esmaeil Baghaei said that the actions of European countries in recent years have ‘encouraged the crimes’ of the US and Israel. ‘In the last two or three years, European countries have not adequately fulfilled their duties in maintaining international security,’ the spokesman said, according to the Mehr news agency, ‘When, instead of insisting on the rule of law and firmly opposing excessive American interference, they aligned themselves with them, particularly in the UN Security Council on the reintroduction of sanctions and other issues, these actions encouraged the American side and the Zionist regime to commit crimes and violate the law more brazenly.’
