Iran, 4 killed in Israeli attack on building in central Beirut

Beirut, Mar 11 (LaPresse) – Four people were killed in the Israeli attack that last night hit an apartment in a residential building in central Beirut. Lebanese media report this, as cited by the Times of Israel. In recent hours, Israeli airstrikes have targeted the southern suburbs of the Lebanese capital. The explosions, reports Al Jazeera, were felt throughout the city. Videos circulating online from a presumed attack site in the Aicha Bakkar area, in central Beirut, show two floors of a multi-story building engulfed in flames. The targeted structure is located several buildings away from Dar al-Fatwa, the highest Sunni Muslim religious authority in the country. Raids were also reported in the Bekaa Valley, east of Lebanon, near the border with Syria.
