Iran: sources say Mojtaba Khamenei was wounded at the start of the war

Milan, 11 March (LaPresse/AP) – An assessment by Israeli intelligence indicates that Iran’s new supreme leader, Mojtaba Khamenei, was wounded at the start of the war. This was stated by an Israeli intelligence official and a reservist familiar with the situation. Khamenei, 56, son of the late Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, has not been seen since he succeeded his father on Monday. Both his father and wife were killed in an Israeli air strike on the first day of the conflict.
