Switzerland, police: “No indication that bus fire was a terrorist act”

Bern, Mar 11 (LaPresse) – The cantonal police of Fribourg believe that the bus fire in the town of Kerzers was not a terrorist act. The authorities reported a toll of 6 dead and 5 injured. Early reconstructions indicate that a person reportedly set themselves on fire inside the vehicle, triggering the blaze. “So far, there is no indication of a terrorist motive,” Martial Pugin, head of communications for the cantonal police of Fribourg, told RTS. “Investigations and verifications are still ongoing,” he added.
