Israel again against Sanchez: ‘Hamas and the Tehran regime are his fan club’

Madrid (Spain), 12 March (LaPresse) – The Israeli government has again lashed out against the Spanish executive and in particular Prime Minister Pedro Sanchez. ‘Tell me who praises you and I’ll tell you who you are. When Hamas and the Iranian regime are the Spanish prime minister’s biggest fan club, the Spanish people should ask themselves why,’ the Israeli Foreign Ministry wrote in a tweet, quoting a post published in recent days by Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian. ‘Spain’s responsible behaviour in opposing the flagrant human rights violations and military aggression of the Zionist-American coalition against countries such as Iran shows that ethics and awakened conscience still exist in the West. I congratulate Spanish officials on their position,’ Pezeshkian wrote on X after Sanchez’s speech at Moncloa in which the socialist leader said he was opposed to the war.
