Milan, 13 March (LaPresse) – Among the documents relating to the Epstein case released by the US Department of Justice, the British broadcaster ITV News has found a photograph showing Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor and Peter Mandelson in bathrobes, alongside Jeffrey Epstein. This is the first known image showing the three men together, but no details are given regarding the date or location where the photograph was taken. According to ITV News, the photo was taken on Martha’s Vineyard in the United States, and is believed to have been taken between 1999 and 2000, before Epstein was sentenced to 13 months in prison. The image shows the men sitting around a wooden garden table, with cups decorated with the US flag in front of them. Mountbatten-Windsor and Lord Mandelson were arrested separately on charges of abuse of office in connection with their links to Epstein and have since been released, though they remain under investigation. Mountbatten-Windsor has repeatedly denied any wrongdoing in relation to Epstein. Lord Mandelson, the BBC notes, has long maintained that he accepted the version of events provided by Epstein and his lawyer and only discovered the truth after his death in 2019.
