Brussels, 19 March (LaPresse) – ‘I have a first message for the US and Israel: the time has come to put an end to this war, which risks spiralling completely out of control, causing immense suffering to civilians and having dramatic repercussions on the global economy, with potentially tragic consequences, especially for the least developed countries.’ This was stated by UN Secretary-General António Guterres at a press briefing with European Council President António Costa on the sidelines of the EU leaders’ summit in Brussels.
