Iran, Trump: ‘I don’t want a ceasefire’

Washington (USA), 20 March (LaPresse) – ‘I don’t want a ceasefire’ with Iran. Donald Trump said this whilst speaking to journalists. “We can engage in dialogue, but I don’t want a ceasefire. You don’t call a ceasefire when you’re literally annihilating the other side,” said the US president before leaving the White House. The UK should have “acted much more quickly” on granting the US use of military bases in the Middle East, added the tycoon, complaining that London’s response had “come with a considerable delay”.
