Iran, Netanyahu: ‘It is time for Europe to join the fight’

Rome, 22 March (LaPresse) – ‘They launched an intercontinental ballistic missile at Diego Garcia… Now they have the capability to reach deep into Europe’ and ‘it is time for the leaders of other countries to join in’. Thus Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, visiting the site of a missile strike in the southern city of Arad, urged world leaders to join the joint Israeli-American military campaign against Iran, citing – as reported by The Times of Israel – the missile launched by Tehran against the Anglo-American military base at Diego Garcia in the Indian Ocean over the weekend. “They are targeting everyone. They are blocking an international shipping route, a vital energy corridor, and are trying to blackmail the whole world. ‘It is time for the leaders of other countries to unite.’ Netanyahu states that some countries are beginning to take action but adds that ‘more is needed’.”
