Brasília (Brazil), 27 March (LaPresse/AP) – Former Brazilian President Jair Bolsonaro has been discharged from a hospital in the capital, Brasília. Bolsonaro will continue to serve his 27-year sentence for attempted coup d’état at his residence in a luxury gated community. Earlier this week, the Supreme Court granted him the right to house arrest due to his deteriorating health. The measure could be reviewed within 90 days. Bolsonaro left the DF Star hospital in Brasilia at around 10 am local time and headed to the Jardim Botânico neighbourhood, where he lived prior to his conviction with his wife, Michelle Bolsonaro, and their 15-year-old daughter, Laura.
