Iran, President Pezeshkian thanks Pakistan for mediation efforts

Rome, Mar. 28 (LaPresse) – According to the Tehran presidency, Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian, during a phone call with Pakistani Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, “thanked Pakistan for its mediation efforts aimed at stopping the aggression against the Islamic Republic of Iran.” The phone call took place as the foreign ministers of Saudi Arabia, Egypt, and Turkey were preparing to meet Pakistani officials in Islamabad for talks on the war.
