Madrid (Spain), 31 March (LaPresse) – ‘Relations with the US are smooth, absolutely normal, both at the diplomatic and embassy level and at the government level’. This was stated by Spanish government spokesperson Elma Saiz at a press conference following the Council of Ministers meeting, after criticism from Washington over Spain’s decision to close its airspace to flights involved in the war in Iran. Saiz maintained that Spain is “a reliable partner”.
