Rome, Apr. 6 (LaPresse) – The United States, Iran, and a group of regional mediators are discussing the terms of a potential 45-day ceasefire that could lead to a definitive end to the war, according to four U.S., Israeli, and regional sources familiar with the talks. Axios reports this information. The sources say the chances of reaching a partial agreement in the next 48 hours are slim. But this latest attempt, they add, is the only chance to prevent a dramatic escalation of the war, which would include massive attacks against Israeli security forces and retaliation against Iran.
