Milan, 10 April (LaPresse/AP) – ‘More than 3,000 people were killed in enemy attacks’ in Iran during the war. This is the estimate provided by a senior Iranian health official, Abbas Masjedi, head of the Legal Medicine Organisation, as quoted by the state-run newspaper Iran Daily. Masjedi did not provide details on the breakdown between civilian and military casualties. The Iranian government has not provided any definitive casualty figures for the war.
