Iran, media: ‘Tehran complains of Israeli interference aimed at blocking a deal with the US’

Frankfurt (Germany), 11 April (LaPresse) – Iran is pointing the finger at Israel and Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, accusing them of seeking to obstruct peace talks with the United States in Islamabad. This is reported by the Iranian news agency Tasmin. Since last night, and immediately following the arrival of the Iranian delegation, intensive consultations have been underway and several rounds of talks have been held with Pakistani officials to ensure that the American side honours its commitments. According to Tasmin’s information, some progress has been made in this regard, but Israel and Netanyahu continue to obstruct the proceedings and attempt to prevent negotiations from taking place and an agreement from being reached. From the Iranian delegation’s perspective, the US is responsible for this incident, and Iran regards the Zionist regime as a partner of the United States and continues to call on Washington to intervene on this matter.
