Rome, 15 Apr. (LaPresse/AP) – IAEA Director General Rafael Grossi stated whilst speaking in Seoul that ‘Iran has a very ambitious and extensive nuclear programme’; therefore, in the event of an agreement to end the conflict with the US and Israel, ‘all of this will require the presence of IAEA inspectors’, otherwise “there will be no agreement. There will only be the illusion of an agreement‘. Grossi maintains that any agreement on nuclear technology ’requires very detailed verification mechanisms”.
