Turin, 16 April. (LaPresse) – Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has called an urgent telephone meeting with members of the security cabinet to discuss the ceasefire with Lebanon. The Jewish media reported that the ministers received just five minutes’ notice before the phone call, coinciding with the announcement, made shortly before by US President Donald Trump, of a 10-day ceasefire between Israel and Lebanon starting this evening. The ministers reportedly expressed disappointment at having learned about the ceasefire from the media, without having first voted on it.
