Iran: Phone call between Pezeshkian and the Pakistani Prime Minister

Milan, 19 April (LaPresse) – The office of the Pakistani Prime Minister announced in a statement that Shehbaz Sharif had a telephone conversation with Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian. The call, which lasted 45 minutes, included an “in-depth exchange of views on the current situation in the region”. Shehbaz Sharif thanked Masoud Pezhakian for sending a delegation to Islamabad for talks earlier this month. This was reported by BBC Persian. Sharif also emphasised that the country “will remain fully committed to its sincere and constructive efforts to promote regional peace and security”.
