Russia, ambassador received at the Farnesina: “Deep indignation over Solovyov’s insults”

Rome, Apr. 22 (LaPresse) – The Russian ambassador in Rome, Alexey Paramonov, – according to reports – was received this morning at the Farnesina after insults directed by Russian anchorman Vladimir Solovyov at Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni. The Farnesina expressed deep indignation over the unacceptable remarks made against the Prime Minister. Ambassador Paramonov – it is explained – said he had already clearly distanced himself last night from Solovyov’s statements and reiterated this during the meeting. Paramonov added that the Russian government and institutions have never, in any way, attacked the Prime Minister.
