Milan, April 29 (LaPresse) – Russian President Vladimir Putin and US President Donald Trump had a phone conversation that “lasted over an hour and a half.” This was reported by Russian presidential adviser Yuri Ushakov, according to the Russian news agency Interfax. “The conversation between the presidents was friendly, frank and substantive,” Ushakov added. During the phone call, Putin strongly condemned the attack against the US president, Ushakov explained. “It is perfectly understandable that words of support from Vladimir Putin were addressed to the President of the United States following the attempted assassination against him on April 25 at the Hilton Hotel in Washington. Fortunately, neither Donald Trump, nor his wife, nor anyone from his entourage was injured. The attacker was quickly neutralised by security. The Russian leader strongly condemned the crime, stressing in particular the unacceptability of any form of politically motivated violence,” Ushakov concluded.
