United Kingdom, Starmer: “Attacks on the Jewish community are attacks on the country”

London, Apr. 29 (LaPresse) – British Prime Minister Keir Starmer said that the stabbing in the Golders Green neighborhood, in the northern area of London where a large Jewish community lives, is “deeply concerning.” The incident follows a series of arson attacks in recent weeks against Jewish sites in London, including a synagogue and the ambulances of a charitable organization. “The antisemitic attack in Golders Green is utterly reprehensible. Attacks on our Jewish community are attacks on Britain,” Starmer stressed on X. “Those responsible will be brought to justice,” he added. Starmer then thanked the Jewish community’s security and emergency medical organizations, Shomrim and Hatzola, and the police “for acting promptly.”
