Milan, May 3 (LaPresse) – Donald Trump’s disapproval rate has reached a new high. This is according to a recent Abc News/Washington Post/Ipsos poll, which found that 62% of Americans disapprove of the US president, a figure up two points from February. According to the survey, Trump’s approval rating dropped slightly from 39% in February to 37%, while his disapproval rating rose from 60% to 62%, similar to his ratings at the end of his first term, shortly after the January 6, 2021, attack on the Capitol by violent pro-Trump supporters. Seventy-two percent of poll participants disapprove of Trump’s handling of inflation, a 7-point increase from two months ago. Twenty-seven percent of respondents, however, approved of Trump’s handling of inflation, while ’1% skipped the question. Similarly, 76% disapprove of Trump’s handling of the cost of living in the United States, while 23% approve. L’1% of respondents skipped the question. More than half of respondents, 66%, said they disapproved of Trump’s handling of the war with Iran, while 33% approved.
