Flotilla: Turkey and Greece condemn treatment of activists

Milan, 20 May (LaPresse/AP) – Turkey and Greece have also condemned the treatment of the Flotilla activists in Israel. The Turkish Foreign Ministry stated in a press release that such behaviour “has openly demonstrated to the world the violent and barbaric mentality” of the Israeli government. And the Greek Foreign Ministry described the actions of Israeli Minister of National Security Itamar Ben-Gvir, who published images of those detained whilst he mocked them, as “unacceptable and utterly reprehensible” and lodged a formal protest.
