Switzerland: Man armed with a knife attacks people at Winterthur station

Milan, 28 May (LaPresse) – A man has attacked several people with a knife at Winterthur station in the Swiss canton of Zurich. “He had a knife in his hand,” a passer-by told the newspaper Blick, “everyone was screaming and running away.” According to Swiss media reports, several people have been injured. ‘A man had a bandage around his neck,’ said another witness, ‘someone was on the ground,’ added another. A major police operation is underway at the scene. The attack took place shortly before 8.30 am.
