Lebanon: IDF reports Hezbollah rockets striking orthodox church in the south

Rome, May 29 (LaPresse) – The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) posted a video on the social media platform X, stating that “Hezbollah fired several rockets that struck the Orthodox Church of St. George in southern Lebanon and several buildings in the Christian village of Marjaayoun.” “This incident,” they write, “further demonstrates how Hezbollah continues to endanger and harm Lebanese civilians.” The IDF also adds that its soldiers “are not operating in the area near the church.”
