Rome, May 31 (LaPresse) – The Iranian presidency has denied reports of Masoud Pezeshkian’s possible resignation, following rumors that the president of the Islamic Republic might step down due to the complex political and economic situation in Iran. Al Arabiya reports this, citing a statement by Pezeshkian to Iranian media: “I continue to work and am ready for any eventuality.” In a post on X, Pezeshkian states that “it is not possible to face major challenges without enduring difficulties,” and speaks of the need to explain the reality to the population “so that all segments of society participate in solving problems.
