Ukraine, nearly one thousand attacks in one day on Zaporizhzhia: 2 dead and 7 injured

Kyiv, May 31 (LaPresse) – Over the past 24 hours, Russian forces carried out 976 attacks against 55 settlements in the Zaporizhzhia region, resulting in two deaths and seven injuries in strikes on the regional capital and surrounding areas. This was reported by Ukrinform, citing a post on social media by Ivan Fedorov, head of the Zaporizhzhia Regional Military Administration. The attacks included 35 air raids, 675 drone strikes, six multiple launch rocket system (MLRS) attacks, and 260 artillery bombardments against communities and settlements across the region. Authorities received 92 reports of damage to infrastructure, residential buildings, and vehicles.
