Rome, 1 June (LaPresse) – Tehran is set to make changes to the draft Memorandum of Understanding aimed at ending the conflict with the United States. This was reported by the semi-official Iranian news agency Tasnim, citing an anonymous source. These rumours follow reports that US President Donald Trump had sent Iran a proposal for an agreement that was tougher on Iran than previous concessions. Whilst acknowledging the new, stricter proposal received by Iran, the Tasnim agency states that discussions on the text “are ongoing, with both sides regularly proposing amendments”.
