Rome, 1 June (LaPresse) – There is a window for negotiations between Ukraine and Russia until winter. This was stated by the Ukrainian president, Volodymyr Zelensky, in an interview with CBS. The leader in Kyiv said he had discussed this ‘in January’ with Western partners, as ‘every month they (the Russians, ed.) will lose more and more men and will therefore lose the initiative on the battlefield’. ‘I think that before winter we must find a way, a diplomatic way, to sit down and talk. But it depends on the pressure on Putin,’ he concluded.
