Rome, 2 June (LaPresse) – Overnight, Russian troops launched ‘a massive attack using long-range precision weapons against Ukrainian defence industry facilities’. This was reported by the Russian Ministry of Defence, according to TASS. ‘Hypersonic air-launched missiles and drones’ were used, targeting defence industry companies “in Kyiv, Zaporizhzhia, Kharkiv and Dnipropetrovsk, as well as in the Poltava, Khmelnytskyi and Sumy regions, in addition to Ukrainian fuel supply and transport infrastructure used by the Ukrainian Armed Forces and military airports‘, the statement reads, adding that ’all objectives were achieved and the designated targets were hit”.
