This was stated by the Chief of Staff of the Israeli Defence Forces (IDF), Lieutenant General Eyal Zamir, who asserted that Iran’s attempts to ‘impose its own conditions will fail’. ‘All our defensive and offensive systems were on alert and ready. We intercepted the threats launched against us and struck in Iran swiftly and decisively,’ he said, referring to the latest exchange of attacks between Israel and Iran. He added: “Iran’s attempt to impose its own conditions and change reality will fail.
