Rome, 17 June (LaPresse) – Sources close to the Iranian negotiating team have told the Tasnim news agency that the text of the Memorandum of Understanding between Iran and the US published by Bloomberg contains “numerous inaccuracies and omissions”. In particular – it is explained – the source emphasised that Article 1 and the section relating to the Strait of Hormuz, as reported by Bloomberg, are “specifically inaccurate, omitting key terms”. The source confirmed that the agreement consists of 14 articles and clarified that, by mutual agreement, the text of the memorandum will only be published after it has been signed, which is scheduled to take place on Friday in Lucerne, Switzerland.
