Tehran, June 18 (LaPresse) – Iranian Parliament Speaker Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf said that Iran remains ready to respond with force if its adversaries do not “understand the language of logic”, warning that Tehran’s finger “remains on the trigger” despite ongoing diplomatic efforts. He said that Iran would again resort to the “language of power” if necessary. Ghalibaf added that Tehran conducted diplomatic negotiations with the United States “from a position of strength”, specifying that Iran’s “victory on the battlefield” provided the backdrop to the talks. “The difference between the current negotiations and the previous ones is that today this victory on the battlefield, recognized by both enemies and friends, serves as the foundation for the talks,” Ghalibaf concluded.
