Rome, 20 June (LaPresse) – The Lebanese Civil Defence reported in a statement, released on its social media channels, that at least 16 people have died and a further 12 have been injured in attacks carried out by Israel in the south of the country, particularly in the Nabatiye area. “Since this morning, staff from various centres within the Nabatiye regional branch of the Lebanese Civil Defence have been carrying out evacuation, transport and first-aid operations in response to the ongoing attacks in the region. The staff have evacuated 47 citizens to safe areas and transported 16 martyrs and 12 injured people to hospital,” the statement reads.
