Rome, 21 June (LaPresse) – Speaking at the memorial service for his brother Yonatan, Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu stated that the Israeli Defence Forces would remain deployed in the buffer zone in southern Lebanon ‘for as long as necessary’. This was reported by Haaretz. Referring to Iran, the Israeli Prime Minister stated that he would not allow Tehran to acquire nuclear weapons: “I have dedicated my life to this sacred goal,” he added.
