Turin, 23 June (LaPresse) – A new national poll shows that President Donald Trump’s approval rating stands at 30 per cent, the lowest level recorded in recent times and a further wake-up call for the tycoon ahead of the mid-term elections. According to a poll by the American Research Group conducted between 16 and 20 June, 66 per cent of Americans disapprove of Trump’s performance, whilst only 30 per cent approve. The poll, conducted amongst a sample of 1,100 adults, has a theoretical margin of error of plus or minus 3 percentage points. In June 2025, the American Research Group had recorded a 38% approval rating for Trump. In May 2026, this had fallen to 31%, before rising again to 30% this month.
